NOTE: As part of our promotional
push, you'll have a chance to appear live on a Chicago
TV or radio station for a cooking/music demo, pairing
you with one of our guest musicians. (playing "Jambalaya,"
of course!)

WHAT

WHAT YOU PROVIDE (JAMBALAYA CONTEST):
1. 2 gallons of your Jambalaya in disposable
hotel 1/2 pan, cooked & hot. NOTE:
Cambros & chafers will be available to keep
your Jambalaya hot.
2. Your promotional materials (cookbooks, menus, merchandise,
coupons, etc.);
3. Culinary assistant;
4. Any graphics you have (photos, logos, Thumbnail graphics,
hyperlinks, email addresses, etc. for their recipe for
publication. IMPORTANT: Any graphics/artwork
must be provided no later than Sept 10th! (we
want to include you in our promo materials.)
WHAT YOU PROVIDE (CORNBREAD CONTEST):
1. One full sheet pan of your cornbread.
SHOWTIME!
Bring your cooked and hot Jambalaya to Wishbone's West
Loop location between 3:30 -45PM on Sunday, September
19; We'll have a table for you, plus disposable bowls,
spoons and napkins. Be at stage at 5PM for awards
ceremony.
JUDGES
To be announced.
JUDGING:
1. Entrants will choose random numbers from a hat, numbers
will be assigned to each jambalaya entry;
2. Judges will taste each entry, starting from #1 through
final entry;
3. Jambalaya will be judged by category, such as: taste,
flavor, “Hankover” (best for hangover),
etc.;
4. Points will be given for each category (1 - 5);
5. Highest overall point total is the winner.
TIE: In the
event of a tie, winner will be decided (by audience
applause) by who sings best version (live, onstage)
of "Jambalaya."
