trademark of Hank’s music is its simplicity, allowing
folks at almost any skill level to play along. Here’s
how YOU can participate:
1.
Bone up on your Hank tunes (playing AND singing)
2.
Bring your acoustic instrument (guitar, standup bass,
fiddle, banjo, mandolin, dobro, harmonica, accordion,
concertina, etc.) from Noon – 2PM, either day;
3. You’ll get half off off admission with your
instrument (regular admission is $5), which includes
a FREE instrument case check AND $2 off HankFest T-shirt
(Present your instrument check ticket to receive discount
- LIMIT ONE SHIRT DISCOUNT PER MUSICIAN/DAY).
4. Be ready to shine when you’re called to sing
or solo.
RULES:
Must “play nice” with others; Know how to
tune your instrument; Listen to those around you; Know
as many Hank tunes as possible.
HOW TO GET ON THE BIG STAGE: We’ll
be looking for standout singers & musicians to bring
onstage with the featured professional acts.
